About

We are the Dutch Surveillance Studies Network, a collective of scholars with an interdisciplinary background which study surveillance practices. Our network researches the sociotechnical aspects of digital surveillance, ranging from ethical and legal issues to the way AI and algorithms have become increasingly central in surveillance. The aim is to raise awareness and contribute to informed public debates, addressing the ever-evolving challenges posed by contemporary surveillance. We are committed to fostering discussions, sharing our insights, and expanding the scientific insights on digital surveillance.
